About Cookiecad

Cookiecad was founded by Nathan Apter and Melissa Kaye. Melissa is a classically trained pastry chef and graduate of the French Culinary Institute in NYC. The company was started after Nathan sold the healthcare software company he co-founded.

At Cookiecad, our goal is to help 3D printing enthusiasts and businesses create beautiful and fun products.

Our Products

Cookiecad 3d Printer Filament

When we launched Cookiecad, Melissa noticed that there were limited options for filaments in the colors she wanted, such as pastels and simple, elegant gradients. We decided that if we couldn't find what we wanted, we would make it ourselves. This led to the creation of Cookiecad PLA filament. Today, our filament line includes approximately 50 different colors, gradients, and materials and is a well-known name in the 3D printing community.

Cookiecad Designer

Cookiecad Designer is a web-based tool that can convert an image or drawing into a 3D model that can be 3D printed. With it, you can create cookie cutters, stamps, multicutters, and even stencils. The ability to quickly go from design to physical item is invaluable for making cookies, polymer clay jewelry, and ceramics.

CADit

CADit is an easy-to-use design tool for designing things to 3D print. It is planned to be launched sometime in 2023. CADit includes a simple 2D drawing interface that will automatically convert your 2D sketch to 3D. It also includes tools, similar to Cookiecad Designer, to instantly make and customize useful items. You can preview CADit today at cadit.app.
